The characterization of fractured reservoirs is complex. We are going to study fractures of one of the oil fields of Persian Gulf by discrete fracture network modeling. Fracture modeling is often based on very limited well data and therefore is subject to high uncertainty. Typically, the standard modeling workflow uses interpolation algorithms to predict the fracture spatial distribution. This paper shows an alternative workflow for improving fracture modeling between wells through the use of seismic attributes. The main objective of this paper is to compare fracture intensity models guided by the two approaches: The standard interpolation based approach, and the seismic based approach using attributes sensitive to faults. The difference between these two methods lies in the way fracture intensity is modeled. Fracture intensity is an important fracture attribute because it guides the fracture simulation. It is estimated from the fracture point data derived from the well data and upscaled into the model. Typically, the standard method employs Kriging or Sequential Gaussian Simulation (SGS) to interpolate the fracture intensity of the 3D grid. This method can deliver highly inaccurate results in case of limited well control. The second approach tries to reduce this uncertainty, through controlling the fracture intensity interpolation via seismic attributes. Seismic attributes can be used as secondary input for the interpolation of the fracture. The preferred interpolation algorithm is collocated co-Kriging because one has full control over the radius of influence of the well data. In addition the influence of the secondary input, the seismic attribute, is controlled via its correlation factor with the well data. A comparison of these two methods provides insight into the complexity and uncertainty involved in fracture modeling.}, keywords = {Discrete modelling,fracture distribution,Fractured Reservoir,Seismic attributes,Gaussina simulating}, title_fa = {مدلسازی گسسته و چند مقیاسه شکستگی ها در مخازن شکافدار طبیعی، مطالعه موردی یکی از میادین خلیج‌فارس}, abstract_fa = {تهیه و به روز رسانی مدل‌های دقیق از توزیع شکستگی‌ها در مخازن هیدروکربنی، از موارد پیچیده در مسائل مربوط به ژئومکانیک مخازن می‌باشد. داده‌های چاه همواره از ارزش بالایی در مدل‌سازی توزیع شکستگی‌ها در مخزن برخوردار هستند. با این حال تکیه بر داده‌های چاه به تنهایی باعث افزایش عدم قطعیت در چگونگی توزیع شکستگی در سرتاسر مخزن می‌شود. روش‌های معمول در توزیع شکستگی، معمولا ًاز الگوریتم‌های درون‌یابی به منظور پیش‌بینی توزیع فضایی شکستگی‌ها در مخزن استفاده می‌کنند. در این تحقیق با استفاده از مفهوم محرک‌های شکستگی، مدل توزیع شکستگی در مخازنی که اطلاعات چاه به صورت بسیار اندک در دسترس است و در واقع مخزن در مرحله شناسایی می-باشد، با ترکیب داده‌های لرزه‌نگاری سه بعدی بدست می‌آید. بدین منظور از اطلاعات ارزشمند ولی بسیار اندک چاه تنها برای تعیین زون‌های شکستگی و جهت‌یابی آنها استفاده می‌شود. سپس نشانگرهای تعیین‌کننده شکستگی به عنوان بستر لازم برای توزیع محرک‌های شکستگی در مخزن از داده‌های لرزه‌ای استخراج می‌گردد. سپس با تعیین محرک‌های شکستگی، مدل توزیع شکستگی با استفاده از روش‌های کریجینگ و شبیه سازی گاوسی متوالی بدست می‌آید. در ادامه با پیاده سازی الگوریتم‌های تعیین شکستگی بر روی داده‌های لرزه‌ای، مدل‌های توزیع‌های شدت شکستگی به روش کوکریجینگ هم‌مختصات بر روی نشانگرها تهیه می‌شوند. در این مرحله با دسته‌بندی شکستگی‌های مخزن از منظر اهمیت در انتقال سیال و با استفاده از اطلاعات زمین شناسی، مدل شبکه گسسته شکستگی برای مقیاس‌های متفاوت شکستگی‌ها، بدست می‌آید. این استراتژی بر روی مخزنی که اطلاعات بسیار اندکی از چاه در آن در دسترس است، پیاده گردید. تفسیر نتایج و مقایسه مدل‌های شبکه گسسته شکستگی بدست آمده با استراتژی پیشنهادی و روش معمول، نشان داد که می‌توان از مفهوم محرک‌های شکستگی جهت توزیع شکستگی‌ها در مخزن با استفاده از داده‌های لرزه‌ای سه بعدی، در مواردی که تعداد چاه‌های بسیار اندکی در مخزن وجود دارد، استفاده کرد.}, keywords_fa = {مدل سازی گسسته,توزیع شکستگی,مخازن شکافدار,نشانگرهای لرزه ای,شبیه سازی گوسی}, url = {http://www.irpga-journal.ir/article_99481.html}, eprint = {http://www.irpga-journal.ir/article_99481_5159c8231ab24503c013696fbf295b3b.pdf} }
