Geomechanics and Geoenergy Journal

Geomechanics and Geoenergy Journal

Geomechanics and Geoenergy Journal (GGJ) as a scientific and research journal publishes papers related to the issues on the geomechanics of enrgy reservoirs. This journal is established by Iranian Association of Petroleum Geomechanics and is published seasonally in electronic forms. In this journal, it is attempted to reflect the results of theoretical, developed and applied researches as well as review issues related to geomechanics of energy reservoirs (oil, gas, hydrogen, Geothermal) including rock physics, seismic and micro-seismic investigations, laboratory and in-situ tests, analytical relations and behavioral models, geomechanical modeling, application of geomechanics in exploration, drilling, production and energy storge and also CO2 capture and storage.

To achieve the aims of the journal, all active scientists and researchers in the above-mentioned fields are invited to share their innovative and invaluable scientific and research results with other experts via this journal, and play significant roles in the development of the science of geomechanics of energy reservoirs, and consequently, sustainable production and enhanced production of oil, gas and hydrogen  from the reservoirs.

The scientific and research  validity of the Journal has been received by a letter number 23709/18/3 dated 16 January 2017 from the Commission of Scientific Journals of the country in the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology.
