In oil exploration, the source rock is considered as the most important part in an oil system for the exploration of hydrocarbons. The source rocks have significant amounts of organic matter and have the ability to produce oil when they reach sufficient maturity. Hydrocarbon source rocks are often referred to as shale or fine-grained formations that produce hydrocarbons when they mature to oil and gas windows. Using gamma, neutron, density, acoustic and resistivity graphs, the amount of total organic carbon can be calculated and interpreted on the studied wells by∆ logR method. In this paper, using digital data of graphs and combining them by Interactive Petrophysics (IP) software, we obtained areas containing organic carbon in Pabdeh Formation. In this study, laboratory analyzes were used to confirm and validate the leading study. Areas with mature source rocks in Pabdeh Formation were found by the mentioned drawings in the Eastern Sungard wells No. a, Shahidan No. b, Dehloran No. c. According to the sequence repeated by Negar Gamma in all wells in Pabdeh Formation in four wells of East Susangard No. a, Shahidan No. b, Dehloran No. c and Mehr No. d and by comparing the sequence in these wells, finding mature source rock In well d, which had no graph data other than gamma graph, it was achieved only by using gamma graph and with the help of this sequence found from other wells. According to the interpretations, the deep range rich in organic matter for the source rocks in each of the studied wells was identified and it was concluded that the Pabdeh Formation in the well of East Susangard No. a has a higher amount of organic matter. Which is immature at the anticline.
